Drawings
Drawing the face of a public figure with proper proportions
Before you start: Print out clear face-front photos of your public figure/s/. Use one to focus on as you utilize the face ruler to map out the face so that the proportions are correct as we did in class. Do this type of proportion drawing 3 times for at least one image.

Drawing exaggerations of your face ruler drawings
Use the drawings you created above to draw at least 3 different exaggerations of your public figure.

Repeat 3 times
If you do the above correctly, you will have at least:
[9] Proportionate drawings of at least one public figure image
[9] Exaggerations using the drawings of you made of your public figure above

At the very least you will have [18] drawings to show in class. Print the images you use to make these drawings out to present by the beginning of class so we can compare what you were looking at to the drawings you made.

Things to look at for inspiration
Are all caricatures cartoon-like? You have already seen some of Sebastian Krügerand Tom Richmond caricatures. Please check out the artists below and copy images of their work into your digital sketchbook.
